We’re a motorhome rental booking agent and comparison platform. We’re not an operator, and we don’t sell event tickets or campground passes. Event info on our site is for guidance only. Always confirm with the organiser.
Bookings & Operators
Are you a rental operator?
No. Event Campers is a booking agent/comparison platform. Your rental contract is with the operator you choose, under that operator’s terms.
Do you sell event tickets or campground passes?
No. We don’t sell or issue tickets/passes. Buy them directly from the event organiser or authorised reseller. Our event pages are informational only.
Why do different vans have different rules?
Each operator sets its own terms, fees, insurance, bond, and driver requirements. We link you to the correct terms before you pay.
How accurate are event dates, maps, and policies on your pages?
We aim to keep info current, but event details can change. Always confirm dates, entry rules, vehicle policies, and camping options directly with the organiser.
Payments & Cancellations
Who processes my payment?
Payments are processed through a secure payment partner.
What about currency changes and fees?
Prices and charges are set by the operator. Exchange rates or bank/processor fees may apply and can vary.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations and changes follow the operator’s policy. We’ll show the policy before you confirm; our confirmation email also includes it.
Can I change drivers or pickup times after booking?
Changes depend on the operator’s availability and rules. Contact us using your booking reference and we can check for you.
Vehicle, Insurance & Bond
Is insurance included?
Basic cover is usually included, with a bond/excess. Operators may offer reduction options. These are given as an option upon booking. Review the operator’s insurance terms carefully.
How big is the bond?
The bond/excess varies by operator and vehicle type. It’s specified during checkout and in your operator confirmation.
Can I take the van to festival campgrounds?
Most allow it, but event and operator rules apply (e.g., no glass, generator restrictions, vehicle size). Check both before you go.
Powered vs. non-powered sites?
Powered sites are limited at many events. Off-grid vans should manage power: solar, deep-cycle batteries, fridges, and ventilation/fans.
Licence, Age & Pickup
What licence or age do I need?
Requirements vary. Many operators accept a full car licence and set a minimum age (often 21–25). International licences may need an IDP.
What documents should I bring to pickup?
Bring your licence (and IDP if needed), a credit card in the driver’s name for the bond, and your booking confirmation.
What if my flight is delayed?
Contact the operator as soon as possible. Late pickups depend on depot hours and availability.
Can I do a one-way rental?
Often yes, with a fee. Options depend on operator depots and dates.
Privacy & Cookies
Do you use cookies?
Yes. We use necessary, functional, and analytics cookies and advertising cookies if enabled. Manage preferences via Privacy or “Cookie Settings”.
Do you sell my data?
No. We share details only as needed to fulfil bookings (e.g., with operators, payment processors) — see our Privacy Policy.
How do I access or delete my data?
Email legal@event-campers.com. Rights vary by location; we’ll respond per applicable law.
Liability & Disclaimers
Are you liable for event changes or cancellations?
No. Event pages are informational only. Always confirm details with organisers. We’re not responsible for schedule/venue changes or admission policies.
Who is responsible for the vehicle and rental service?
The operator. They provide the vehicle/service and handle maintenance, roadside assistance, and any disputes related to the rental.
